After half a year's experiment and comparison, recently, the inspection department of Fangda Jiuquan Iron and Steel Co. has successfully produced the analysis standard samples with the characteristics of blast furnace slag, sinter and coke, breaking through the limitations of the outsourced standard samples and realizing the application of the self-made standard samples in production inspection, which not only saves the analysis cost, but also provides the technical guarantee for accurate inspection and better serves production.
It is understood that the analysis and inspection standard sample is an important reference for testing units to check whether the analysis results are correct or not. Basically, every analysis will use the standard sample. Prior to this, the standard samples used in laboratory analysis were purchased. The outsourced standard sample is not only expensive, but also has fixed parameters and measurements. However, in the actual production process, the production sample is not consistent with the standard sample matrix. This also leads to the interference of the outsourced standard sample on the analysis results of the instrument, and has certain limitations.
In order to improve the accuracy of analysis data, break through the limitations, reduce interference, and better serve production, the company's laboratory technology team took the initiative to attack, and set up a self-made sample team to tackle key problems. After half a year of searching data, borrowing equipment and conducting comparative analysis tests, the key problems were successfully tackled. The standard sample tackling team successively produced the analysis standard samples of blast furnace slag, sinter and coke. Through the comparison and verification of X-ray fluorescence spectrometry, ICP plasma emission spectrometry and other methods and the comparison with the inspection of external units, it is shown that the content and uniformity of the self-made standard samples meet the requirements of the standard samples, which not only conforms to the national standards, but also is more suitable for the production analysis and inspection of the company, breaking through the limitations of the outsourced standard samples, and successfully tackling key problems.
At present, the self-made standard sample has been used in the daily analysis and inspection of tableting method and thermogravimetric industrial analysis method. It is estimated that the annual cost of purchasing the standard sample can be saved by more than 10,000 yuan. Next, the company will continue to tackle key issues, expand the scope of sample production, and further tap potential and create results.
